Fish

The Fish are the direct off-spring of David Edgar’s work as Visiting Artist in December 2007. Using David’s invention of “reverse origami”, the students open a detergent bottle using a basic format and are instructed in the creation of a head with fins and gills. They are then set free to explore and invent new effects and processes of embellishment and dimension. A typical plain fish can be taught and made in 2 1/2 –to-3 hours.
