One Island 
The Octopus’s Garden was a learning experience for all of us. As one of the art teachers at Hillcrest it surprised me as to how the parents, administration, and students responded to this project. Although there were many times throughout the process that many of us felt frustration, in the end it was nothing but success. Kudos to Kayla and Brandon for approaching Norwin S. D. In the first place you have left an immense mark on your Alma mater and your former teachers! This endeavor would never have been successful without their passion and insight. It has also left a major impact on the views of What is art? As well as consumption of plastics and recycling.
